Twins cap: -6.5
I'm doing this for Swanson and Profar and Hamels. Swanson's a top-25 prospect in baseball and immediately becomes my bestest spec. Profar's a bounceback candidate, who will pull quite a few nice specs if he puts it together. Hamels will help me reach my minimums this year, as well as provide me with a guy to re-sign for the discount come 2017. Plouffe is my 3B, which I didn't really have before. Miller's the kind of guy who might put it together and really breakout at the utility role. I love me some Spang, but I think he's the only guy I'll really miss out of this load of fellas going to the Twins. Not that Myers/Arroyo/Bick aren't good, they are, but I have plenty of depth at their positions to account for moving them. I take on some cap (which is why this deal even happens, I think), but I'm getting Swanson/Profar/Hamels.
Good deal, Twins. We got there! It was a blast.
