SP Aaron Nola, 4th, 1.6 (Phillies)
P Raisel Iglesias, 2019, 3.5 (Reds)
11.1
Indians cap: -7.6
Orioles cap: +7.6
I'm moving into 'win-now' mode pretty hard here. With the draft coming up, I figure I can replicate at least half of these fellas I'm giving up. Calhoun and McKenzie obviously hurt the worst, but I still feel they're two years from being real fantasy assets...but who knows?
Who I'm getting is significant. A closer is nice, but Nola/Carrasco add serious, top-flight depth to the rotation. This deal alone will allow me to re-sign Scherzer as well, which in effect makes this a deal for him, too.
Good deal, Orioles. Best of luck on the rebuild.
