Stephen, 30, Suffolk, England - about 90 minutes north east of London. I'm a cricket nut, throughout the summer I play every Saturday and Sunday for the village I grew up in, and I coach little kids too in the hope that one day they'll do the running for me. After uni I fell into IT - I'm currently working for a company who don't monitor their staff web usage (and if they did it would be my department anyway), so I'm online quite a bit. I love baseball, though obviously it can be a bit tricky to keep up with the time difference. I have a (somewhat) understanding girlfriend, who I am gently trying to introduce to fantasy baseball. It's not easy.
My favourite baseball film is '42'. That said, I've only really seen that, 'Moneyball' (the book is a zillion times better) and 'A League of their Own', so it's pretty much no contest.

Kyle, 27, Kalamazoo, Michigan - 90 miles north of chicago, 90 miles west of Detroit Im a football and baseball nut. Grew up playing both, and wrestling. Wrestled in college. My passion is baseball though, I read baeball history books like crazy, love every aspect of the game. The tradition of it all. Engaged and getting married next summer.
Favorite baseball movie is Cobb (Im a detroit fan), major league and 42. Moneyball got on my nerves, as it didn't ever mention they had 3 aces that year.

Matt, 31, Tampa, Fl. Married, no children. I'm truly a NFL fanatic. I'm a Fantasy Football crackhead. I'm in 5 leagues, all 12 teams (only way to play), 2 keeper leagues, and I'm commissioner in 2. I actually started Fantasy Baseball 2 years ago, just to bridge the gap between NFL seasons. Surprisingly, I really enjoyed Fantasy Baseball. Love the daily transactions/lineup changes. I feel like FB tends to favor the better/more active owners. Where as, FF, as much as love it, feels like it's at least 51% luck. Happy to be a part of the league. Hopefully we can get 15 competitive GMs. Let's do this!
Favorite baseball movie is The Babe.

Hey i'm Justin. I'm 32 and live in central canada. About 2hrs north of north dakota. I'm married with a 3 year old son. I spent 4 years getting a science degree and playing football, only to go to trade school after. i'm a carpenter and run my own framing crew. And i absolutely love it. I'm a huge red sox fan and try to take a holiday somewhere every year so i can see them play. This year is toronto at the end of april. I play in one other fantasy league, but it isnt as in depth as this one.
Favortie base ball movie: either field of dreams or the babe with john goodman I also really like For Love of the Game
P.S. It was an awesome year last year, the Red Sox won the world series.

Shyam, 19 as of a few days now, and live in College Station. Student at A&M, studying Engineering as a sophomore, and spend my down time back in Austin. Been doing fantasy baseball for around three years now, and I will be an Admin for the League starting this season. I've been a huge Padres fan since I was a kid growing up in San Diego, and it's a bitter existence.
I had some free time last summer and went to two games with some friends: Cardinals Astros and Red Sox Astros, which was a nice twist come the World Series.
Favorite movie for me still has to be The Sandlot.

Soosh, 29. Live a half hour west of Boston in central MA. Lived here pretty much all my life, but went to 'Cuse for 5 years of hazy memories and some classes. Married, but no kids yet. Work at a local company as a project coordinator, which is about as fun as it sounds. Like I wrote in my league application, my other keeper league with a small minor league system ended and found this as a perfect replacement to take a step up while filling the baseball void in my heart. Favorite baseball movie is Major League II - www.youtube.com/watch?v=puvSU2c3xT0

Hey guys,
I am Ron. I live in Fairport NY and am happily married for 19 years now but not as old as you would think. An accountant by destiny. Top that!!
Not much else to really tell. I like to be active to try to build solid teams and be competitive. A trash talker by nature but always respectful.
Feel free to use email and/or IM to get a hold of me.
Looking forward to this.

I much like Stephen am a cricket nut and play as often as I can unfortunately no longer for the village I grew up in. My other sporting passions lay in American Football and Baseball. I absolutely love fantasy sports and they take up about 75% of my life. Obviously I also have the time difference issue and I am also trying to make my girlfriend enthusiastic about fantasy sports but I fear that will never happen!
I studied Biology at uni and am now working for a company that produces kits that test for a type of blood cancer which is pretty cool work and its fairly relaxed so I have access to my emails at regular points!

Evening all My name is Mark Salter, I grew up in Somerset but came to Oxford to go to university and have lived here ever since. I am 29 and have been married for 2.5 years, no kids (for now...) I am a Maths graduate and qualified chartered accountant, although I work in the associated field of risk management at the moment. Not as interesting as it sounds... Huge sports fan, I play football in the winter and cricket in the summer, plus pool all year round. I love watching and generally following sport too- especially football, cricket, rugby, NFL, cue sports and of course baseball, which I have got into relatively recently compared to most probably not sure if this counts but my favourite film with baseball in it is Naked Gun! This is my first venture into this type of league and very much looking forward to it

Hello to my new old league! Eric, 29 I grew up in the South watching the Braves and Cubs on WGN, but I blame my affinity for the Braves on my Grandparents. They regularly took me to Atlanta-Fulton County Stadium when I was a child, spoiled me on hotdogs and foam tomahawks, and never missed the opportunity to take me early for autographs. I prefer listening to games on the radio for some reason, maybe because I was always on the road during college visiting my girlfriend. My favorite baseball memory is watching Carlos Baerga fly out to Marquis Grissom on a fastball from Mark Wohlers to end Game 6 of the '95 WS. I remember my mother watching with tired eyes as a ran around the house screaming 'Braves win, Braves win', hearkening back to the Sid Bream slide of '92. My favorite baseball movie is Bull Durham. Hands down. Infinitely quotable and timeless. I've been engaged for almost 4 months now, and my fiance and I travel for a living, so to speak. We teach English as a Second Language in different countries all around the world. We're currently teaching at a university in Oman, which is located on the northeastern point of the Arabian peninsula. Living in the desert is both challenging and exciting...it's raining tonight, which means the possibility of floods! Woohoo! I'm really active in trading and love studying prospects. That's about it. Thanks for welcoming me back, guys!

Steve 27 and from Chicago, IL. Grew up rooting for the cubs which has been tough. I loved that 2008 team that ended up losing to the dodgers. I never thought they'd lose that series....especially when DeRosa hit a homer to give them a 2-0 lead in game 1. I was in my second to last semester of college and was bartending while they lost game 3. I went to Illinois State which has any many St. Louis fans as Cubs fans and they all seemed to be sitting at my bar that night.....It was brutal. It's the worst loss I've experienced as I was 17 when the Bartman game happened and I thought I'd have plenty of opps to see Dusty Baker, Kerry Wood, and Mark Prior in the playoffs.
I love fantasy baseball and football and I'm excited to join the league. Favorite baseball movies are Sandlot and Major League II.

Hey everyone, Jon Niedzwiecki
I'm originally from West Bend, WI, lived in Boston, MA for a year and currently live in Carrboro, NC (down the street from Chapel Hill and the UNC campus) Moved here with my fiance, to get away from the cold and today is not a good example of that considering it is suppose to snow today. I am in another league like this that is 30 team and actual originally helped to start this league but needed to drop out for a while.

Hello everybody, my name is Scott Wilcox, age 30.
I'm a Wisconsin boy, have been my whole life. Born/grew up in Waukesha, spent 6 great years attending the University of Wisconsin-Madison (go Bucky), and now reside in Oconomowoc with my wife of 5 years. We have one terrific son, age 2, and we have a second boy on the way (due date May 12th). So exciting times around here.
I'm a diehard Brewers, Packers, and Badgers fan, though baseball has always been my favorite. I've long been looking to get into a league of this depth, so I'm glad to be a part of what you have here.
Finally, I'm a pharmacist and pharmacy manager, so sometimes my schedule (I work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, etc) can get in the way a bit. But rest assured I can always be reached via my email address and am typically quick to reply.

I live in Texas which means Turbanator and I should become BFFs. I'm married to a woman much better looking then me (which was a very low hurdle for her to overcome) and we have a feisty daughter who thankfully looks like her Mom.
I'm a die hard A's fan. Sadly, my main reason for becoming an A's fan was... wait for it... wait for it... Jose Canseco. My room was covered in Bash Brothers posters. Looking back on that now, this detail may have been one of the many reasons why I was told to wear a paper bag while I was at school. Luckily I also loved Ozzie Smith, and those flips, so I pretty much use him as my "favorite player from childhood" if asked in a public setting.
I'm always online. I hate punctuation. I love trades. I love prospects and even though I am unable to do any math beyond basic addition I love advanced stats. I'm seldom serious, often sarcastic, and never ever have anything constructive to add to a conversation.
