Dbacks receive: 1B - Matthew Olson (A's) $0.3 (1st) www.fangraphs.com/statss.aspx?playerid=14344&position=1B/OF SP - Grant Holmes (A's) $0.3 (1st) www.fangraphs.com/statss.aspx?playerid=sa828669&position=P SS - Gleybar Torres (Yankees) $0.3 (1st) www.fangraphs.com/statss.aspx?playerid=sa830372&position=SS Twins receive: SP Sonny Gray 5th 1.0 RP Roberto Osuna 3rd 1.0 Cap: Dbacks -1.1 Twins +1.1 I'm probably selling low on Gray, he is still young and presents great value at the league min for arb players. Having said that, I'm a bit sour with disappointment considering he decided to take a dump on me after I traded for him! Osuna has been magnificent during his young career, and he's only 22 years old. I'm hoping to be competitive next season but that's probably ambitious considering my team is going to be really young, so it made more sense to move Osuna while his value is high. Olson's stock has dropped a bit but I still think he can be a solid contributor in an OBP format and he's big league ready. Holmes is a bit of a lotto ticket, but the A's have had success developing undersized pitchers, hopefully he can become a mid-rotation guy. This deal is all about Torres, though. I know he's potentially still 2 years away, but he has showed continued improvement despite being very young for each level. I feel that he has top 5 upside at SS. Appreciate the easy talk, Ben.

I think I'm in a position to try and have a crack at the division at least this year with the free agency moves so far and this just adds to it.
I hate trading for osuna but if I'm to stand a chance I need two closers and I now have two young ones who can put up great surrounding stats.
Gray is a useful 4th/5th guy to go with kazmir at the back of my rotation.
Iv got a ton of specs and whilst I think Olson and Torres could be really good They probably aren't going to help me enough next couple of years.
