Houston Mets trade: Josh Rutledge - 2B/SS, 3rd, $1.0 Joaquin Benoit - RP, 2014, $1.3 Atlanta Indians trade: Jonathan Schoop - 2B, 1st, 0.3 (Orioles) www.fangraphs.com/statss.aspx?playerid=11265&position=2BFrancisco Mejia - C, 1st, 0.3 (Indians) www.fangraphs.com/statss.aspx?playerid=sa739565&position=CVictor Reyes - OF, 1st, 0.3 (Braves) www.fangraphs.com/statss.aspx?playerid=sa657236&position=DH/OFJosh Beckett - SP, 2014, 3.6 Mets cap: +2.2 Indians cap: -1.6 Doing this to sure up my MI. I think Rutledge does better than his numbers suggested last year. Might blow up, actually. I've read a bit on him, and hitting .300 isn't a stretch. In Coors he might hit 20HR, as well. I'm not particularly high on Schoop. Now that I've said that, he's gonna blow up. I think Benoit might be closing in San Diego before the year is out, but he'll get me some holds regardless. Both Mejia and Reyes were unprotected before this deal. Solid negotiations, Mets.

Accept. I tried to get some higher profile prospects along with Schoop, who I really like, but I got what I could with some upside players from the lower minors along with him. Same story as before, not competing this year and trying to gather future talent which this accomplishes.
Thanks for the deal and fair negotiating ATL.
