I want to hear how many players every team has on there DL to start Opening Day. I think nothing kicks off Opening Day like the sounds of whining!
I'll start...
I have 7 (as of 11am CST)

4 all pitchers, including one closer, and one out for season.

6 DL, 3 (2SP/1RP) out for the season.
I'm ready to whine about Parnell blowing a save on opening day because somehow he couldn't get Danny Espinosa out (walked him, really?)!
Clippard gave up a HR on an 0-2 count.
Cliff Lee (have him in a different league) gave up 11H and 8ER in 5IP, really? Guess I should quite whining though, cuz he still got the W.

Which is a great example of why W/L don't mean diddly for a SP, lol. I guess he gets props for hanging in there for 5 inns.

I'm just going to put Jose Reyes on the DL, cuz I know that is where he will end up.

what list does A-Rod go on?! I have no-one good on the DL thankfully I do have about 5 people who didn't even make their team's roster though - Gregorius, Romine, Boggs, Eppley, Claiborne

I guess I win this, as I have maxed out the 8 DL spots with a 9th that wants to go on it. Then Harvey who is currently unprotected, but most likely out for the year.
I think I also win the most rostered FAs with Octavio Dotel and Frank Francisco still unsigned. Also have Rafael Betancourt, but not rostered on ESPN.

Wilson Ramos hurt his hand by the looks of things, no timetable yet...

Interesting concept in light of that comment... So are you saying that Cliff Lee giving up 35 ER and getting the win isn't quality?

I'd prefer QS myself. Bumgarner pitched way better than Lee did, but had to be taken out for PH in 4th, so he doesn't get a win. Lee goes that one extra inn and does. It's very arbitrary.
