Rangers trade: Kelvin Herrera -RP, 4th, 1.6 Tony Watson- RP, 4th, 2.5 Starling Marte- LF/CF, 4th, 2.0 D.J. Peterson- 3B, 1st, 0.3 (Mariners) www.fangraphs.com/statss.aspx?playerid=sa549926&position=3BAlec Asher- SP, 1st, 0.3 (Rangers) *Prev. Unprot.* www.fangraphs.com/statss.aspx?playerid=sa549673&position=PIndians trade: Kenley Jansen- CL, 5th, 4.2 Hyun-Jin Ryu- SP, 2015, 2.0 Wei-Yin Chen- SP, 4th, 1.0 Danny Farquhar- RP, 3rd, 1.0 Rangers cap: 91.8 -- 93.6 Indians cap: 93.2 -- 91.8 It's debatable who's the biggest fantasy guy in this deal. Jansen or Marte? But, either way, I'm trading a strength for a need. I needed a LF with the inevitable departure of Cruz. Herrera and Watson sure up my bullpen in that they give me two more guys who were really good at getting HLDs last year...whether they help me in 2015 is, as always, a question mark, but I like their chances. I love DJ's bat and I think he can put together a big year next year and land at 1B/LF for the Mariners in 2016. Asher is depth at this point, but who knows? Strengths for weaknesses pretty much sums up this deal from both sides. Thanks, Rangers.

I agree. I don't like dealing Peterson, I think he'll be in Seattle sooner rather than later. Marte is a young stud, a 15/30 guy with 3 years of control. Herrera and Watson are coming off great years (perhaps too good?), but I feel holds can be more easily replaced. I trade Marte (and Peterson) because there's one thing that kept me from making a real run at the top this past year...quality IP. I think Ryu and Chen, especially Ryu, really help me accomplish that. Jansen is a stud closer, and he and my guy Rosenthal should help me keep the pace in saves. Farquhar should help me replace some of those holds, and along with his K rate (10.3 K/9) and the possibility of him closing some day, I felt he was a worthy add-in.
Good dealing Atlanta.

Indians, could you please recheck:
Kenley Jansen
I did your TTC check and I have:
Kenley Jansen 5th 4.2
W x H x S 4.0 Era 0.4 Whip 0.4 K 1.2
6 X 0.7= 4.2

Did you update the cap numbers to reflect the correction?
Also, please note that Asher was previously unprotected.

I wouldn't need to correct is as it was a direct copy/paste from my roster, which already reflected the changes to Jansen's salary.
I think everything is in order.

I was talking about the +/- for each team after the trade.
I'm sure they were run when you had Jansen at 5.1.
It looks like you did make an adjustment but it still doesn't look right.
It think it should be: Rangers +1.8 (93.6) Indians -1.5 (91.8)

No worries. I didn't mean to be difficult. I was just doing my TTC duties.
