Orioles receive: C - Jorge Alfaro, $0.3, Rangers - www.baseball-reference.com/minors/player.cgi?id=alfaro001jor1B - Ronald Guzman, $0.3, Rangers - www.baseball-reference.com/minors/player.cgi?id=guzman000ron1B - Dan Vogelbach, $0.3, Cubs - www.baseball-reference.com/minors/player.cgi?id=vogelb000danSS - Nick Gordon, $0.3, Twins - www.baseball-reference.com/minors/player.cgi?id=gordon000nic3B - Renato Nunez, $0.3, Athletics - www.baseball-reference.com/minors/player.cgi?id=nunez-002renMets receive: 1B - Jose Abreu, 2015, $7.0 Cap: Orioles -$5.5 Mets +$5.5 Another deal for a very good MLB bat to continue the recent trend. I hate to give up more prospects, but at some point I need to fill out my MLB roster too and I think even one year of Abreu is worth the bounty of top power prospects and particularly infield talent that JP was looking for.

I accept. I hate giving up my absolute favorite hitter in the MLB. However I think there is plenty of potential in the prospects I'm getting. Alfaro has a great bat but needs to work on his defense. Gordon and Guzman are like a decade away from the majors. Vogelbach and Nunez will be fun to follow.
As they say prospects will break your heart. However I hope these will just wound me a little.
Thanks for the insanely easy trade talks!!!
