All, As you might have seen, a proposed trade was recently halted due to the presence of a player signed in this season's free agency. Rule 5.11.1 covers this aspect of the league. A few days ago, the Rangers and Blue Jays agreed to a trade which was approved by TTC - fantasybaseball.boards.net/thread/467/louis-rangers-kansas-city-blueGiovanni Soto was signed this offseason in FA, and as per rule 5.11.1 should not have been available for trade. Since TTC already (incorrectly) approved this deal and both teams have since made some moves, I'd personally be inclined to let the deal stand as the completion of this deal may have had an impact on their subsequent actions. If anybody has an objection to allowing this deal to stand please message me no later than tomorrow (Monday) and I will open a league-wide vote. TTC (myself included) need to be vigilant in future, and check that any players involved in trades are eligible to be included. Stephen

Wow, sorry, I didn't notice at all. I obviously would like the trade to stand, but respect the decisions of others in the process.

Don't beat yourself up - everyone else missed it too.
If nobody objects before the end of tomorrow then the trade will stand, and we'll just put this one down to experience. If there is an objection then we'll put it to vote so everyone can have their say on whether they think it should be retracted or whether this can be allowed to remain as a one-off.

HOW DARE YOU! I mean I had people yelling at me when I put players, who were acquired in FA from this past off season, on the trade block saying just horrible and rude things to me about my dogs. How they weren't cute and how I should read the rules! This is just anarchy!
Here are some quotes:
"Byrd you put Byrd on your trading block. You are the stupidest a**h*** I've ever seen. Do not ever come back to this message board."
"Hey idiot, you put Byrd on your trading block. If you don't take him off I will eat all the cookies in your house."
"Marlon Byrd is on your trading block. We never miss a player who should be ineligible! So do not try to slide this one by us!

Let's be serious here. Nobody cares that much about Marlon Byrd.
Not even Marlon Byrd cares that much about Marlon Byrd.

Exactly! Which is why I find it so weird that Marlon Byrd is actually at my house at the moment making me peanut butter sandwiches because I decided to send him a Facebook Friend Request

I think that has more to do with the city of Philadelphia than anything else
