Why does the ESPN League show 600 (I believe that is the exact number) bench slots for batters, but I only have 2 bench slots available for pitchers? Its a minor annoyance that I have to add pitchers to my roster and then drop them as needed (especially with the sudden rash of injuries I have), while I can add all the batters on my team and just shuffle them back and forth between the starting lineup and the bench.
Was this uneven bench intentional and I am just missing the bigger picture? Or is this some type of backlash due to my long winded Bauer trade analysis?

Bench spots are not allocated to hitters or pitchers. If you have an available bench spot it defaults to show after your hitters, but you can add pitchers into them until you reach the total limit.

Sorry... Just kidding... Thanks for the clarification... Also just a unrelated question. What is the record for most players on the DL for opening day?

No official records have yet been recorded. I think I'm sitting at 5.
