I get to watch the A's play the Astros in a few days... Which got me thinking, what is everyone's favorite ballpark food? For my UK brothers obviously I will accept favorite pitch foods.
The Astros have a fantastic array of food choices but my favorite is this Philly cheese steak type hot sandwich but on a pretzel bun. Its amazing with sauteed onions and peppers!

In my experience British venues are far less adventurous than American venues when it comes to their menus. US sports seem to be explicitly designed to offer the maximum opportunity to purchase sundries and refreshment - that is not quite the case with football (yes, I will continue to refer to 'soccer' using it's proper name).
As for my favourite bite at Portman Road (my local stadium, though I've not been there for some time) I'd have to go for the chicken balti pie. If I recall correctly, that is the least inedible foodstuff that they serve (except crisps and chocolate).

At&t has amazing garlic fries. And I'm not much of a meat-eater, but the standby hot dog or sausage dog w/ all the fixin's is hard to pass up at the park.

I love the Barry Bonds Juicer at AT&T Park! Loaded with a bunch of stuff that may make your head swell! (Couldn't resist)

Just don't go to At&t and make that joke. Bonds is still a legend in most of the Giants fans eyes.

I tend to spend all my money on beer at the park. ? I have been to 5 different parks and probably 25 live games and I don't remember eating once.?

That sounds amazing, JP. They do a chicken philly at The Trop, it's pretty tasty. Honestly though, it's a lame answer, but the Rays hot dogs (Kayem) are F'n delicious. Please do try them if your local grocer carries them.

Just to counter Stephen's Suffolk bias in mentioning Portman Road and pies: At a football match I love the pies that are created by Delia Smith(of pretty much any variety) at Carrow Road (Home of the mighty Norwich City)
However, I tend to find the best food for a sporting venue is the ability to collect Pizza from Dominoes at a couple of the England Cricket Grounds and then eat it in the stands watching the England's best past time
