All,
I would like to notify you that we are looking to add the following addition to the Infractions/Penalties section of the constitution:
6.9 Self-Reporting Infractions Any owner suffering a cap penalty as indicated by rules 6.2, 6.3 or 6.7 will have their penalty halved if they self-report their own infraction. Any infraction identified by an admin or fellow league member will incur the full penalty as stated.
As this is potentially a bit more significant than many of the rule amendments we make without formally pre-notifying the league, I thought I would invite any comments or queries on this one before putting it into stone (deadline of Friday this week).
Cheers, Stephen

As somebody that reported my own infraction, I'm all for this rule.

As somebody that reported my own infraction, I'm all for this rule. It's a gentle balancing act between trying to promote care and accuracy, encouraging honesty and fairness in case of genuine error, and deterring from any deliberate wrongdoing (with our current ownership I don't really feel that to be an issue). It is our hope that this revision helps assists us with that balance.
