I do not understand this trade from the Braves perspective. Any ways looks like the deal is all but done and should be announced later today. Olivera better be a stud or this will be a huge dud for the Braves.

Agreed, Dodgers did very well especially if Olivera turns out to be anything but an all-star. It's nice when you can pay someone $28 million and then trade them to upgrade your roster at the deadline.

1:05pm: The deal is “done,” per Rosenthal (on Twitter), who says that the players involved are being informed.
Deal is done and looks like Arroyo's contract is going to the Dodgers. But regardless Alex Wood, bullpen help, a stud prospect, just wow....

5/32.5 is excellent if Olivera produces how they expect him to. I mean Headley got 4/52...

Key word being, expect. Not to mention the guy is 30yo. Certainly not a death sentence but the odds of his production declining each year is something to consider.
