Peralta is coming off a rough debut season, but I like his ceiling, and think he could be worth a low risk outlay. Lewis has some real bounceback potential this season, and Brett Jackson could conceivably produce this season as well, but I need more arms that I have long term control over.
I like the upside that Lewis presents. By all reports he should be healthy and ready to compete as the 4th or 5th starter. Jackson gives me some more depth in OF for my prospects. The Cubs outfield is not settled so Jackson could get a shot. Upside seems to be favorable for both.
