1) There is currently no tiebreaker to separate teams that finish on equal points.
2) The proposal is to introduce a tiebreaker so that a winner can be determined.
The first tiebreaker would be to place any tied teams into a head-to-head mini-table, with a point awarded for each category they are top in. The team scoring the most category wins is determined to be the winner. If there are three or more teams in the tiebreaker and the tiebreaker itself produces a tie, all teams outside of the tie will be removed from the mini-table and points will be recounted.
If the first tiebreaker is unable to produce a winner, then the following calculation will be made for each tied team: (3 x IP) + AB With the highest total determining the winner.
If this doesn't produce a winner then a tie is awarded.
Option 1) award a tie if roto points finish level Option 2) introduce tiebreakers so that a winner can be determined
