Twins recieve IF/OF Roman Quinn (1st) 0.3 (Phillies) m.bbref.com/m?p=XXminorsXXplayer.cgiQQid=quinn-000rom1B Prince Fielder (2016) 11.3 Angels recieve RP Casey Fien (2nd) 0.5 2B Ian Kinsler (2016) 7.7 Salary change Twins +3.4 Angels -3.4 (I hope this is acceptable and the link works as I'm doing it off my phone) I agreed to this trade because my biggest weakness right now is first base and my strength is 2B so I'm happy to give up one of my players at that deepest position to get a player who could be an absolute superstar for my team in the next two years once he returns from injury. As for the other part of the trade I'm replacing a player I don't really value for a prospect who can be unprotected in the future to save cap but could also be a contributor for me down the line

Accept. Been shopping around Fielder for a little bit, and I like the return I'll be getting here. I think Fielder could be an elite producer again if he can get healthy, but that's not a sure thing by any means. Fantasy mimics reality here in that Kinsler is heading to the Tigers in exchange for Fielder, and makes my infield options as good as they get. I think Fien could potentially be a useful late relief guy in seasons to come, but his addition is mostly potential.
Hate to be trading away Roman Quinn, given his elite speed, but I think in the long run his loss is offset by the extra cap space.
Thanks for the talks Twins.

I hope for Twins' sake that Fielder comes back strong.
