I would say keep it simple and reasonably shallow if we do it as an auction;
C, 1B, 2B, 3B, SS, 3x OF, 2x UTIL
2xSP, 2xRP, 4/5xP

With 10 teams that'd be super shallow.
Beyond a H2H roto auction it doesn't sound like anyone minds too much the rest of the setup - should I take this on and just get something sorted and moving?

I agree it would be pretty shallow but i was just thinking about time. I haven't done a baseball auction before, how long do you think auctioning c.240 players will take?

2-3 hours. ESPN is pretty slick.

Didn't get a chance to do this before I went on holiday. Was going to set up a doodle. Sat 28th of an evening are best bets for me, but a poll thing like that would probably be best to work out a time and date.

I've sent out an email from Doodle which might help us get a time sorted. Please fill this out ASAP. Also, we're in a bunch of different time zones and trying to put this together at short notice - please do what you can to avoid using the 'no' option unless really necessary. Any questions then please give me a shout. Link here if you didn't receive the email: doodle.com/ipss7ezym7a2ketg

i have filled it in. unfortunately have had to say No to quite a lot of slots, reflecting the fact that I am asleep at night time, at work during the day and also on holiday from 22nd March onwards. hopefully we can find a good time for everyone though!

the evening of Saturday 4th april if it's impossible to find a slot before I go away then that's ok, just do it whenever and you can all screw me over by nominating all the injured players and letting me autodraft them! it will just make my eventual victory all the more sweet

I guess if we can't find a time before your holiday then we can look at Sunday April 5th, otherwise perhaps we go for some sort of pre-ranking offline draft which I think can be selected so that we can have input on who we pick without all having to be present at the same time. I don't think we have the time to do a full offline draft on here or by email.
